My Books
Not my Cup of Tea
A fantasy adventure that mixes quests, mages and grotty concoctions with a subtle message of mindfulness and the importance of sharing calm moments when meeting adversity. The love of language is also at its heart - I adore the sound and feel of words and strongly believe that younger audiences have just as much right to a rich, interesting vocabulary as adults.
Eliza Potwhistle is descended from a long line of Tea Mages (think witches and wizards that study and create weird and wonderful cups of tea). The chance discovery of a hidden scroll will set her on an epic quest to decode the ancient recipe it holds - no less than ‘The Best Cup of Tea in Creation’!
From the majestic Old Library in Kettlepot Quad she will journey - with her puss cat Bert of course - through the gloam of Glubtubbit Wood, to the seashore of Swashbottle Cove and finally the fearsome Mount Clatterclack - all to seek the help of the three Great Tea Mages. Can they unlock the scroll’s secret or will the intrepid Eliza be the hero in her own adventure?
The Buggiest Band About
A board book aimed at 0-4 years olds.
The short tale of a tiny band that teaches young children their numbers as well as insects and instruments. With an ever-growing crowd of musical bugs on the leaf, things are getting pretty crowded. If it falls, let’s hope the bugs land somewhere safe (and ready to party!)
